YESH

YE GADSI am alive. Just really busy. More postage later… I’m kinda behind on everything right now. The straight facts:

- Weekend was awesome.

- I would like to congratulate the UW Japanese Department for ALMOST succeeding in making me feel like studying Japanese for a decade was a waste of my time.

- LONG week ahead. Must catch up!

- Grapefruit rule. So do Blueberry Muffins. Xiaoxiao’s cooking is awesome too. Waffles? Yeah, waffles are swell too. And you know those Reed’s Ginger Beer thingys? Those are so good, you should have one now. NOW, DAMMIT.

Murphy Strikes Back; We’ll blame it on JarJar

GRRRRR GIVE ME MIRACLE GRO *ding* PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT! Yes, I STILL intend to toss myself in a freezing lake on Saturday. To help make this happen, you can DONATE! All proceeds go to Special Olympics Wisconsin. Donate by reading the entry after this one.

I’d also like to say hi to me mum and dad, who apparently read this. I shall endeavor to keep this space clean of anything either of you might find offensive.

On that note: FUCK. MURPHYS LAW STRIKES AGAIN. I was supposed to get a bunch of stuff done today, be productive… but alas, it’s not to be. Well, I tried. I’ve just had a rough day - e-mails from profs moving up deadlines, health issues… bleh. I ended up missing both volleyball practice AND the history seminar whatsit. I can’t wait for tomorrow night… I’m going to sleep a LOT.
However, amongst all that, I am lucky to have Xiaoxiao there to calm me down and get me to think rationally. Despite everything, I still consider myself to be a pretty lucky guy.

Okay, I’ll stop being mushy now. Time for work…

The colder it gets…

Lake Monona is colder than SF Bay... at least this month.…the more I want to throw myself in a lake.

On February 17th, I will willingly toss myself into Lake Monona for charity. Why? Eh, sounded like a swell idea at the time.

If you feel like supporting my efforts, you can use the magic of the internet(s) to donate by clicking this text which will cease becoming a link right about now.

I hope I don’t get pneumonia…

Good afternoon, world

WORSHIP THE CUTENESSFor the record, Cookie Death VI did not destroy my apartment… but it did make it very interesting. Many thanks to all the fantastic people who braved the cold to come out and join the madness.

I’ve realized that one can learn a lot a person’s personality by observing how they plan a party. Perhaps I am reading too much into this (or perhaps I am still recovering from sleep deprivation and tasty beverages), but it’s a fun idea to ponder.
